How it works

From a family’s question to your phone call

01

Tell us your patch

Choose the postcode districts you cover and the types of care you offer: visiting, live-in, overnight and more.

02

Families tell us what’s needed

Families answer a few short questions about the care, the hours, how soon and how it will be paid for.

03

The enquiry comes to you alone

Each enquiry goes to one agency only. It arrives by email and text as soon as a family finishes, so you can call while they’re ready to talk.

04

You call, assess and quote

Talk it through, arrange your assessment and give your quote. The family agrees the care directly with you.

Checked before it reaches you

Every enquiry is verified, so you’re calling a real family

Fake numbers and made-up addresses waste your team’s time. Every family goes through the same checks before their enquiry is sent to you.

Full address, looked up

The family enters their postcode and picks their address from the Royal Mail address list, so you get the exact address where care is needed, not just a postcode.

Mobile confirmed by text code

We text a one-time code to the mobile number and the family types it in. If the code isn’t entered, the enquiry isn’t marked as verified.

Phone number checked live

Every number, mobile or landline, is checked against the network to confirm it’s a real, working UK number before it’s accepted.

Email checked

We check the email address can receive mail, block throwaway addresses, and suggest fixes for typos like “gmial.com” while the family is typing.

What they need, in their words

The type of care, who it’s for, the hours, the kind of help, how soon and how it will be paid for, plus the best time to call.

Consent recorded

Every family agrees to be contacted by one local agency. We keep the wording they agreed to and when, so you can contact them with confidence.

Enquiries worth calling back

Everything you need to prioritise, before you pick up the phone

Every enquiry comes from a family who has told us what they need and agreed to hear from a local agency. We never ask families about medical conditions, so you have the conversation that matters on the first call.

  • The type of care, the hours and how soon it’s needed
  • How the care will be paid for: privately, by the council, by the NHS or not sure yet
  • Only postcodes inside the area you told us you cover
  • The full address, the verified mobile or checked landline, and a checked email
  • Exclusive to you, never sent to another agency

Who we work with

Registered agencies that want steady, local work

There are 14,217 home care agencies on the CQC register in England. Families find it hard to tell them apart, and good local agencies are often hard to find online. We send families to the agencies that cover their street.

  • Registered with the Care Quality Commission
  • Visiting care, live-in, overnight, dementia, respite and more
  • Small independents and larger providers alike
  • Any region of England

Simple, fair terms

Pay for the enquiries you receive, nothing else

Every enquiry is exclusive: we never sell the same family to another agency, so you’re not racing competitors to the phone. You pay per enquiry you receive, and set a monthly cap so you never spend more than you planned. If an enquiry has bad details, such as a wrong number, you can return it for a credit.

We’ll talk you through pricing for your area when you get in touch.

Questions agencies ask

How do families find Hello Hattie?

Through our website, search engines and online advertising. Families use our guides and free tools, then ask to be matched with agencies near them.

Do families know an agency will contact them?

Yes. On the last step, every family agrees to their details being passed to CQC-registered agencies that cover their area, so they can be contacted about care.

Are enquiries shared with other agencies?

No. Every enquiry is exclusive. Each family’s enquiry is sent to one agency only, and never sold again.

How do you know the details are real?

The address is picked from the Royal Mail address list, mobiles are confirmed with a text code, every phone number is checked live on the network, and emails are checked before the enquiry is sent. Each enquiry shows which checks it passed.

How much does an enquiry cost?

It depends on your area and the types of care you offer. Get in touch and we’ll talk you through it. You always set a monthly cap.

What counts as bad details?

Contact details that are wrong or unreachable, such as a wrong phone number. You can return those for a credit.

Is there a contract?

No. You pay per enquiry you receive, with a monthly cap you set.
